Registrations for the Roses swimming races are now open
26/06/2025On Sunday 10 August the 88th edition of the Roses swimming races will be held, with the format started last year on a single date to turn it into a true swimming festival. Participation is open to everyone and registrations can be made until 8 August at 13:00, through the websites www.genroses.cat, www.piscinaroses.cat and www.curses.cat
Two options Participants will be able to choose between: Competitive crossing: 2,000 meters , starting at 9:30 a.m. Popular crossing: 1,000 meters, starting at 10:45 a.m. In both routes we will find the same categories and each person will be able to choose the most appropriate one for their level and/or objective. Roses presents the 2025 Festa Major Barraques program
20/06/2025The Càmping Bahia fairground will once again host, between August 12 and 17, the space intended for concerts and booths for this year's Roses Festival. Mama Dousha, La Fúmiga, Doctor Prats, Las Migas, Classe B and Estopaos will take to the stage for an edition that will also include sessions by renowned DJ'S, the 'Va parir tour' party by Ràdio Flaixbac and the new Barraquetes proposal, aimed at children and families. Roses celebrates Sant Joan and Sant Pere with festivities full of tradition by the sea
19/06/2025Once again, Roses will celebrate the eve of Sant Joan on June 23 with a party that will feature the arrival of the Canigó Flame on the promenade, a parade of giants to the breakwater, a bonfire, fireworks and dancing. On the 27th and 28th, the town will celebrate the festival of Sant Pere, patron saint of fishermen, with a popular dance, the traditional tirad de l'artó, fish stew and habaneras.

13/05/2025The GALP Costa Brava (Local Fishing Action Group), the Terres Gironines Cooperativa Ateneu and Inspira Gastronomia, are promoting the third edition of the Women and Seafood Cooking Conference, a project in which the Roses Economic Promotion Area has participated since the first edition and which aims to promote knowledge and the gastronomic heritage of women in the sea. This year, the initiative has the collaboration of the town councils of Roses, Llançà, l'Escala, Salt, Sant Feliu de Guíxols and Roses, as well as their fishermen's guilds.
