Roses will be the venue for the third edition of the Cursa Entrepobles de l'Alt Empordà
Roses will be the venue for the third edition of the Cursa Entrepobles de l'Alt Empordà, which will be held next May 2027. The municipality will take over from Llançà in an event that, in just two editions, has experienced extraordinary growth and has already become a classic event in the region's sporting and popular calendar.
The last edition, held on May 10, 2026 in Llançà, brought together more than 2,500 participants, consolidating a project that goes far beyond a race. Entrepobles was born with the desire to bring together the municipalities of the region around sport and a strong sense of belonging and community.
Sport, territory, community and solidarity
The Cursa Entrepobles has defended very clear values since its beginnings: the feeling of belonging to the municipality and the region, the community, sport and solidarity.
The proposal will maintain its essence: a friendly 10-kilometer route, designed so that a very wide audience can participate, both running and walking. The aim is that people of different ages and sports levels can represent their municipality and share a day that combines sport, territory and celebration.
One of the distinguishing elements of Entrepobles is precisely this identification with each town. Participants do not just take part in a race, but do so representing their municipality and sharing a common project with the rest of the towns in the region.
Roses takes over
from Llançà Roses City Council is very pleased to be able to host this third edition and be part of a project that has demonstrated a great capacity for mobilization and that shares values linked to sport, territorial cohesion and citizen participation.
For its part, the Entrepobles organization is also particularly pleased that Roses is the new venue for the event. After the success achieved in Llançà, this third edition will allow the project to continue to grow in a municipality with an important sporting tradition and with all the conditions to host an event of this nature.
Looking ahead to 2027, the organization is working with the aim of expanding the number of registrants and progressively incorporating new activities around the race, with the aim of turning the day into an even more complete experience for participants, families and municipalities.
This growth, however, will maintain a fundamental premise that has accompanied Entrepobles since its inception: always prioritizing quality over quantity, preserving the close, participatory and friendly nature of the event.

Over the next few months, the definitive date of celebration, the opening of registrations, the route, complementary activities and all the new features of the third edition of the Cursa Entrepobles de l'Alt Empordà will be announced.
