Roses participates in a promotional action with the large-scale sector to publicize the port and the destination
Costa Brava Yacht Ports (a brand of which the port of Roses is part), together with Delta Ebre Port, have organized the first fam trip or joint familiarization trip in which representatives of the large-scale sector have visited the port infrastructures of Roses, Palamós, Sant Feliu de Guíxols and La Ràpita, as well as the tourist destinations Terres de l'Ebre and Costa Brava, where they have been able to discover the experiences and attractions of these two unique and special spaces.
The objective has been to promote the activity of large vessels and boost this type of tourism that comes by sea and generates economic dynamism in the territory. This sector includes boats of more than 25 meters in length, both charter and private use. A sector that is exploring new ports with large mooring points and different natural environments such as the Costa Brava and the Ebro Delta Natural Park. With this joint promotional action, the ports involved and the destinations are committed to this type of nautical tourism.

The Costa Brava has established itself as one of the most attractive stretches of the Mediterranean coast for high-level nautical tourism. With a unique combination of landscape, quality port services and excellent connectivity, it offers optimal conditions for the call of large ships that sail through its waters. The discovery program for the participants of the familiarization trip to the Costa Brava, in addition to technical visits to the three Girona ports, also included recreational and sports activities such as tandem jumping at Skydive Empuriabrava, gastronomic tastings in traditional and avant-garde restaurants, wine tourism activities at the Peralada and Espelt wineries and a golf clinic at the Camiral at Quinta do Lago Resort, among others, to show the diversity and quality of the destination's tourist offer.
