Port de Roses and Grup d'Esports Nàutics (GEN) sign an agreement to promote nautical sports and dynamise the municipality

Today, 10 April 2024, at the facilities of the Port Esportiu de Roses, an agreement has been signed between the Port of Roses and the Grup D'esports Nàutics (GEN). The main aim of this agreement is to promote and encourage water sports in the region and to boost activities related to this industry in the municipality of Roses.

The agreement, the result of close collaboration between the two entities, will establish a framework of action for the development and promotion of nautical sport, with a special focus on the organisation of regattas and other events. Through this joint initiative, the aim is to encourage participation in nautical activities, as well as to promote sports tourism in the municipality of Roses.

Under this agreement, the Grup d'Esports Nàutics de Roses undertakes to continue to manage and organise the regattas, championships and other events planned for 2024, in collaboration with Port de Roses. In addition, the visibility of Port de Roses will be guaranteed in all event promotions and a series of regattas sponsored by the port infrastructure will be held throughout the year.

On the other hand, Port de Roses has undertaken to provide financial support to the Grup d'Esports Nàutics to carry out the programmed events, as well as to cede the use of certain facilities and moorings for the organisation of the sporting activities.

With this agreement, Port de Roses and the Grup d'Esports Nàutics demonstrate their shared commitment to the promotion of water sports and the revitalisation of the sporting and tourist life of Roses.

This collaboration represents a unique opportunity for the growth and consolidation of water sports as one of the main attractions of Roses.
