120 drones will welcome 2025 in Roses with a technological show followed by the Castell de Focs
Roses will experience a brilliant, technological and creative New Year's Eve with the inclusion in its programming, for the first time in the municipality, of a spectacular drone show that will light up the bay on the night of December 31. It will start at 11.45pm on La Punta beach and will give way, at midnight sharp, to the 12 rockets that will mark the 12 bells of the beginning of the new year and, with it, the start of the Castle of Fireworks.
The New Year's Eve show in Roses will feature 120 drones that, combining dances and acrobatics and with the accompaniment of a bespoke soundtrack, will create a unique piece of light and technological art, which will lead the viewer through a magical Christmas journey.
"With this novelty, - points out Sílvia Ripoll, Councilor for Festivals and Culture of Roses -, we want to continue surprising and incorporating quality activities into our Christmas program, this time with a show that combines technology, spectacularity and tradition, to share during a few minutes, all together and surrounded by light, the excitement for the beginning of the new year".
The show will be run by the Flock Drone Art company, visual and technological creator of reference in the use of drones in mass events. In recent years, he has held hundreds of shows, which have toured Spain, Europe and Africa and received international awards and recognition.
CHRISTMAS 120
For the show in Roses, Flock Drone Art has created 'Nadal 120', a unique show that captures the magic and traditions of Christmas, connecting tradition and innovation and showing in the sky of La Punta beach, how the new technologies can reinterpret cultural symbols in surprising and emotional ways.
With 120 synchronized drones, 'Nadal 120' will transform Christmas traditions into a 10-minute visual journey full of lights, iconic figures and emotions. The audience will be able to enjoy formations such as a bright Christmas tree, a funny snowman, a shooting star, a gift... and specific figures of Roses, timeless icons that evoke the warmth and joy of these holidays
"Traditions are the soul of our culture and Christmas represents a time of sharing, light and color," says the creative team at Flock Drone Art. "With 'Nadal 120', we seek to convey these values and give families an unforgettable experience to end the year and start 2025."
Location of the show
For the preparation and development of the show, part of La Punta beach will remain closed to the public throughout the 31st (the perimeter will be marked with fences and signage), while the best location recommended by the technical team of Flock Drone Art to see the show will be in the vicinity of Plaça Sant Pere.
