Roses celebrates a new edition of the April Festival on April 17, 18 and 19
Roses is preparing to experience a new edition of the April Festival on April 17, 18 and 19, a proposal that will fill the tent set up for the occasion on the grounds of the old Bahía Camping, with a varied program open to all audiences. The event, already consolidated in the local calendar, will once again focus on a combination of activities that fuse the Andalusian essence with the participation of entities and artists from the territory.
The program includes outstanding musical performances, with proposals that include the fusion of flamenco with Latin rhythms, pop and urban music by Maruja Limón, the more festive and danceable Catalan rumba by Brian de la Rumba, or the unmistakable style of Jaleo Flamenco and its alternation between traditional and modern flamenco.
Once again, there will also be dance performances by the Sara García, Gabriela Martín and Pilar Sánchez schools, and the participation of the Casal del Pescador. There will also be activities open to the public, such as a flamenco flashmob.
As usual, Sunday will be dedicated to the Mass of blessing of palms, which will be accompanied by the Coro Rociero de Llançà and which will then give way to the celebration of a flamenco vermouth.
This year's closing will be the show 'Zaryel', choreographed by the rosinc Jan Gálvez, which will dedicate a first part to traditional Spanish dance and a second inspired by the universe of Salvador Dalí, with an artistic and visual proposal. The performance will take place at the Municipal Theater.
All activities that will take place in the tent will be free, and you can also enjoy the final show at the Municipal Theater free of charge. In this case, however, you must reserve tickets in advance through the website rosescultura.cat.
