The first of the cleaning days was organized by the Port of Roses and had the collaboration of the divers from the Club Badia de Roses and resulted in the extraction of a total of 150 kg of waste from the seabed of the Almadrava This is one of the actions that the marina carries out in compliance with the requirements required by the Blue Flag, EMAS and ISO 14001 certificates it has held for years and which guarantee the minimization of the port's activity on the environment, acting in aspects such as the reduction of consumption of energy and water resources, the correct management of waste, the control of anchorages in the coves and beaches of the municipality, or the collection of waste from the coast, among others.

The cleaning organized by Club Badia de Roses reaches its 21st edition

Next October 20th, the XXI edition of the seabed cleaning organized annually by the Club Badia de Roses will take place. In this case, Port de Roses will collaborate with the initiative by providing professional divers from its workforce, as well as skippers in charge of driving and handling the boats that remove the collected rubbish.

The action will take place at the 2nd pier on Palangrers beach, thus continuing the cleaning carried out last year - which already allowed the removal of 450 kg of waste - where the existence of waste was detected that they required more sophisticated crane-type means to be extracted from the seabed.
