The characteristics of the bay of Roses and the location that hosts the various events of the Festivalet, La Perola beach, offer every year to the attending public a unique show, where the colors and light on the horizon and reflected in the immense mirror of water are the absolute protagonists. The musical and gastronomic proposals that the Economic Promotion Area of ​​the City Council adds to the natural spectacle, complete a program designed for the enjoyment of all the senses.

In this edition, Saturday 's musical performances will be performed by Guillem Ramisa, Abril Gabriele and Mercabanda , while on Sunday Carlota Flaneur and Clima will take to the beach stage . As a novelty, this year the musical program will be extended with the settings of the DJ's Radio Cassete Nights (Saturday from 8 to 11 p.m.) and DJ Lia Jensen (Sunday from 6.30 p.m. to 9 p.m.).

Tastings and menus: the flavor of the Festivalet

Roses restaurateurs are offering the Pica-Tasta throughout the weekend on La Perola beach , gastronomic tastings where the establishments Can Cairó, Can Cervera, Cervesa de Roses, Falconera, Harry's and Italian Beach Food da Brix will offer, between 4pm and 11pm on Saturday and 4pm and 9pm on Sunday, pizzas, pancakes, fajitas, brownies, quiches, raviolis,... accompanied by beers, wine and soft drinks.

Once again, the festival will also be present in the town's restaurants. On this occasion, from the 3rd to the 12th of November, the Can Cervera, Harry's, L'Àncora and Txot's Roses restaurants will be in charge of showing the variety and quality of Rosin gastronomy, offering their Festival Menus with specialties made with products of proximity and season.

Parallel artistic activities

The artistic opportunities offered by the dewy sunsets will be revealed one more year with a series of parallel activities, where participants will be able to capture and immortalize the beauty of the landscape.

Painting fans have a new date this year with the Roses Sunset Quick Painting Competition, on Saturday 4 November, with prizes up to €500 and categories for children, youth and adults. For their part, photography lovers can participate between October 11 and November 12 in the Festival's Instagram Contest , publishing their images of the spawn and opting for a prize of €300.

The Roses Tourist Office hosts, from October 17 to November 12, the exhibition of the finalist photographs of the last edition's Instagram contest, while between November 7 and 19, it will also exhibit the winning works of the quick painting contest .
