Changes in the buoy fields of Almadrava and Cala Montjoi following the indications of Capitanía Marítima.
This year, on Almadrava beach the number of buoys available is reduced by 14 due to the delay of the anchoring area marked by Capitanía Marítima de Palamós, while the buoys in the anchoring area of Cala Montjoi have been redistributed.
During the month of May we installed the buoys in the coves of Roses for the summer season this year. This year they can be found in the following coves: Canyelles, Almadrava, Montjoi, Calitjàs, Pelosa, Bonifaci and Jòncols. This year, on Almadrava beach the number of buoys available is reduced by 14 due to the delay of the anchoring area marked by Capitanía Marítima de Palamós, while the buoys in the anchoring area of Cala Montjoi have been redistributed.
The Seasonal Uses Plan is the document that, each year, regulates the activities that take place in the maritime-terrestrial public domain. Among these uses are the installation of regulated anchoring polygons, which during the month of May and early June we were installing.
Following the guidelines of Capitanía Marítima de Palamós, administration that regulates navigation and anchoring in the waters of Girona, the polygons of Almadrava and Montjoi are affected this season 2022 significantly compared to previous seasons. In the case of Almadrava beach, anchoring points are reduced due to the delay of the beacon line of the bathing area, which has meant the elimination of 14 buoys for seasonal rental. In the case of Montjoi, the changes are motivated by the redistribution of the anchoring field and the change of the buoy death system, using ecological deaths, following our sustainability objectives. In Montjoi the same number of buoys is maintained as in previous seasons, although they change their location.
The rest of the beaches and coves maintain their anchorages without significant changes.
If you want to book a buoy for this season and you want to do it for a duration of less than a week, it is necessary to make the reservation through our mobile APP (Port Roses) that you can download in the Markets of IOs and Android.
